Respite Care

Taking care of someone else is a full time, 24 hour a day job.  When was the last time you had a vacation?  Some primary care givers find it difficult to make it to the beauty shop or the barber.  For some it’s a struggle just to go shopping.  What do you do?

Well, many nursing homes provide “Respite Care”.  You bring your loved one for a short period of time, (1 to 14 days), and the nursing home provides for their care.  By using the respite care provided by the nursing home, you can take that vacation you haven’t had for ten years.  You can get the yard work done.  You can do that remodel on your home that will make it even easier to care for the loved one you just took to the nursing home.

What you do is your business.  But knowing that someone is there to help is important.
